We operate on an appointment basis, so each bride has our undivided attention, and benefits from the exclusive use of our dressing rooms. Each appointment will last approximately 90 mins so we have enough time to talk through your ideas and help to bring them to life with our diverse range of beautiful bridal dresses.
Lots of people can feel a little nervous about their first appointment but there really is no need. We have answered some common questions below to help you best prepare yourself.
Twelve months before your wedding is usually a good time to start looking for your dress. You should look to order your dress at a minimum of 8 months before to allow time for it to be made, delivered and fitted. Some designers will accommodate shorter time-scales but there is usually an additional charge for this service. Some of our designers also have ‘stock ready’ dresses meaning if you really have left it to the last minute, we can usually get your dress delivered within 2 weeks. Alternatively, we have a range of ‘take me today’ dresses ready to take the same day.
So you’ve set the date for your bridal appointment—the next step is deciding who your ultimate ‘say yes’ squad is! It can be such a tough and overwhelming decision—you might think you want everyone there, but that might not be the best choice.
Family. Whether it’s your parents, siblings, grandparents or extended family, it’s essential to have close family members involved through this important (and exciting!) decision process.
Bridal party. Considering they’re in your wedding, why wouldn’t they be there when you make the single most important decision of the whole event? Having your most important people there will only allow for more “ooo’s” and “ahh’s” when you come out in different dresses
Children. As Mum’s ourselves, we know only too well how treasured children are…I also know how lovely it is to have a little bit of ‘me’ time! Ivory fabrics, sharp pins and big decisions never really sit well with children, so we ask you where possible, to refrain from bringing children between the ages of 1 and 10.
Small babies are more than welcome and we’d be delighted to warm bottles, dispose of dirty nappies in exchange for a small cuddle!
Less is more. Remember, less is more. Too many opinions from too many people at your appointment can make for a stressful and overwhelming overall process. The goal is to be shedding tears of joy when picking out your wedding dress, not tears of stress!
Nude or white underwear will work best under the dresses. If you have a strapless bra, that can be handy but a lot of our dresses have in-built support so they aren’t always needed. A hair-band or clip can always be useful too if you are thinking of wearing your hair up. We have shoes for you to try on, so bringing your own shoes isn’t necessary.
Our dress samples are in sizes 8-28. Don’t worry if that’s not your size, there’s lots of little tricks to give you a good idea of how they will look when they are in your size and fit properly.
Our dresses range from £195.00 to £2250.00.
We accept most credit/debit cards, as well as cash . If you are ordering a dress, we require a 50% deposit at point of sale. When the dress arrives and passes our quality control check, we’ll contact you to let you know and to book a fitting. At that point, we require payment of the remaining 50% balance. If you are buying a ‘take me today’ dress off the peg, we require 100% payment, and you must take the dress home with you that day.
We are truly blessed to work with a fantastic team of independent seamstresses who are based in their own studios. They carry out fitting appointments and you can visit their studios and have your fittings there.
Your alterations are a separate charge and will be payable direct to your seamstress.
You are under no obligation to use our recommended seamstress service and are free to have your gown altered anywhere you choose.

We aim to have your gown arriving 6 months prior to your wedding date. This may vary depending on how far in advance you placed your order.
Creating a budget is one of the most important aspects of dress shopping! Although very important, it could also be challenging. We recommend establishing your budget prior to your visit, as we have a wide selection of wedding dresses available.
We want you to have the best shopping experience, and it truly is most helpful when you have a budget that you’re comfortable with.
We strongly recommend booking an appointment, as we offer a one to one service in the comfort of our bridal suite, so each bride has our undivided attention.
